Sunil Pal on Archana Puran Singh dismissing his claims

The comedian said, “I don’t have any complaints against anyone because I understand. Why should I be defamed or why should I fight? You can see that in the current comedy scene, somewhere or the other, everyone is making videos using abusive language. And the abuses are so severe that it feels like a headache, while they already suffer from verbal diarrhoea. So when I speak against them when I go for shows, I’m told not to make dirty jokes because when I present my work. I’m directly connected to the public. It’s just my bad luck that our real audience isn’t as active on social media. So they can’t respond to such things.

Sunil Pal reveals the hate from trollers is affecting him

He continued, “With folded hands, I request you to do whatever you want. If someone wants to do vulgar comedy, go ahead, if you want to use abusive language, go ahead. I regret that my intention didn’t reach the people. I will never do this, even if someone offers me Rs 1000 crore. Because I truly consider my work as worship, and the heart, mind, eyes, voice, nature, and intention should be pure and clean in front of the public. But what can we do now?

If any podcast asks me, I’ll just say, do whatever you want. The government isn’t doing anything about this, and if fake trollers are trolling me, why should I be upset? If my work has decreased and I am stressed because of all this, I’ve understood now — do what you want. I made a big mistake trying to explain and promote good comedy. You all do what you want, but I won’t do it. I will continue to do clean and pure comedy,” he said. Adding that these people come get the unnecessary hype from the people and we get all the abuses over their comedies.
